GRÖNA GÅRDAR
Background
Green Farms supplies meat from animals raised on grass and herbs. The animals grow up slowly and the meat has time to develop a rich and full-bodied flavour, while being well marbled and therefore naturally tender. The farmers are located throughout western Sweden, from Karlstad in the north to Halmstad in the south.
Mission
Gröna Gårdar wanted to develop their digital presence and sell their products online. We developed the idea, concept and design for the website and webshop.
Solution
Through interviews with farmers, a meat school and a recipe bank, visitors are guided to explore all corners of the meat world. The aim is to shed light on the complexity of the business and thus create respect and understanding for animals, nature and farming. The motto ‘country meets city’ has been a guiding principle in the work. The page also shows how ecology and grass-fed animals are linked to high meat quality.
